Headcover Styles… for a Mormon

I just wanted to share briefly some headcover styles that are suitable for a Mormon. Despite what some people may believe, it is not required that Mormon women cover their heads. A certain set of modesty standards, is however, required. Because my hair is so short right now I have been wearing styles similar to these below (think turban), but I also like to wear a style similar to the tichels when my hair is longer.

Which style above is your favorite?

They are all very pretty. I don’t wear anything on my head usually, though.

I like the one with the print in the first row, left. It’s a lovely pattern and the color combination would match a lot of outfits.

I don’t fel comfortable with anything on my head other then occasional baseball hat with a pony tail pulled through or I will have my hair put in a pony tail or some updo so it’s out of my face.

I have always felt like I looked weird with my hair covered, but I can understand doing it if it was part of my religion. I really like the first headcover.

These are pretty! I have never worn a turban or wrap, and probably wouldn’t, but others look great in them!

I very rarely wear anything on my head…a hat at the beach maybe. I love the middle one at the top though. :)

I’m LDS and I wear an array of headcovering styles have even worn Hijab! I don’t think it matters the style more the reason for the person, personal revelation, etc
