If you are the parent of small children and have ever lost power before, then you know how tedious it can be to entertain them while the power is off. Winter storms are notorious for causing power outages and while we haven’t lost power yet, cities all around us have been struggling with outages. I’ve compiled this list of 10 things to do when you lose power.
- Build forts – All kids love blanket forts, right? Strip those beds, get the sheets out of the closet and let your little ones build a massive blanket fort. If you are feeling creative, hang some battery powered LED lights inside for a nice effect.
